First introduced in 1998, Tanqueray Malacca Gin is based on a recipe developed by Charles Waugh Tanqueray, inspired by his expedition of the southwestern coast of the Malay Peninsula. The gin is said to be slightly sweet with lime, lavender and jasmine as well as peppercorn, rose, and clove.
